About the role

As our Food Service Director, you'll oversee all aspects of the dietary department, ensuring nutritious, delicious meals are served with care while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and service. You'll lead a team, manage kitchen operations, and make a meaningful impact on our residents' health, happiness, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all dietary department operations in a skilled nursing facility
• Ensure nutritious, delicious meals are prepared and served with care
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety and service
• Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff
• Work independently and collaboratively with other departments

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• ServSafe certification
• 2–3 years of long-term care experience preferred
• Previous kitchen management experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency

Qualifications

• Food Service Education Background preferred
