About the role

Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Food Service Aide to join their team at Riverside Transitional Care in La Crosse, WI. The role serves meals to 150+ residents and staff across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality dining experience by serving attractive and nutritious meals according to resident dietary requirements and preferences.
• Create a welcoming, respectful, and engaging dining atmosphere during mealtimes.
• Duties include hostess and dietary aide duties, dish room duties, cleaning, preparing resident meal trays, restocking, and other kitchen responsibilities.
• Absorb and assist with preparing and delivering snacks and drinks to residents.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask is essential.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with seniors or in a long-term care community is preferred.
• Drivers must have a valid driver license and a safe driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in food service or related field preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail.

Benefits

• Part-time servers starting between $15.50 and $18.50 per hour, with potential for more based on qualifications, experience, and hours worked.

Pay

• Starting wages range from $15.50 to $18.50 per hour, with potential for higher based on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

• Primarily works 3:30pm-7:30pm, six 4-hour shifts per two weeks.
• Includes every other weekend, every other holiday, and varying weekdays.
• Casual call required to work a minimum of 3 shifts per month, including 2 weekend shifts.

Example Hours

• AM: 5:30am - 2:00pm | 7:00am - 3:30pm | 6:00am - 10:00am
• PM: 9:00am - 5:30pm | 3:30pm - 7:30 pm | 4:00pm - 7:30pm
