About the role
This position is only open to current DBHDS employees. The successful candidate will prepare and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of patients while adhering to health and safety regulations. They will also maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in food handling and preparation areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements
- Experience working in hospital/institutional food service department or other large-volume commercial kitchen is required
- Completion of food safety certifications or trainings relevant to food handling and hygiene practices within 30 days of hire is required
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital or institutional food service department, or other large-volume commercial kitchen.
Pay
The hiring range for this position is $39,180 - $54,068, Pay Band 2.
