Food Service Call Center Associate (PT Rotational) Saint Vincent Hospital

About the Role

Assists patients with menu selection to ensure they receive appropriate nutrition-related items. Enters tube feeding orders in accordance with diet orders and usage, and sets up TIM with iPhones.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls from patients and nursing staff to assist with menu selection in compliance with therapeutic diets.
• Assist patients with carbohydrate counting, fluid restrictions, and other parameters of Medical Nutrition Therapy as necessary.
• Edit and enter selections into the computer system and verify physician/physician extender orders.
• Enter tube feeding orders in accordance with diet order and usage.
• Set up TIM with iPhones.
• Utilize proper food handling and food storage techniques when assembling patient trays and receiving, rotating, and storing food.
• Deliver and retrieve food carts, ensuring patient trays are delivered in accordance with the tray delivery system.
• Support cleaning pots and pans at sink area.

Requirements

• Minimum High School diploma or GED.
• Requires CBORD training and knowledge.
• Strong math skills.
