About the Role

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Food Service Specialist to join our on-site Food Service team in Idaho Falls. If you enjoy providing excellent customer service, keeping things running smoothly, and working in a positive, people-first environment — this is the place for you. This position supports Melaleuca’s in-house café and food services by preparing fresh meals, assisting customers, and ensuring every guest enjoys a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service while taking and preparing food orders
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions with accuracy
• Prepare ingredients for the salad bar (wash, slice, and portion produce, meats, and other items)
• Maintain food quality and portion sizes
• Aid with daily kitchen operations, including dishwashing, cleaning, and restocking
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
• Follow all food safety and sanitation practices
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and commitment to great service
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day
• Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person!
