About the role
The Food Service Assistant position is assigned to the Nutritional Services Department. Work involves the skill of reading and interpreting information to make independent decisions regarding the accurate service of regular, consistency modified, and/or therapeutic diet modifications while meeting the prescribed service schedule. Employee may act as lead worker and assist in the training of other food service personnel. This employee may be involved in food production tasks. Work is reviewed by a Food Service Supervisor for skill in applying food handling standards and sanitation techniques.

Requirements

Qualifications
The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Benefits
Salary Range: $31,200 - $48,810 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.

Work schedule is 6:00 am to 10:00 am; 3:15 pm to 7:15 pm.
