Food Service Assistant II - Food and Nutrition - Per Diem Evenings

Position Highlights

• Location: Elmhurst Hospital
• Schedule: Per diem, scheduled as needed; Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM with rotating weekends and holidays

What You Will Do

• Perform a wide variety of duties involved in preparing and/or serving foods and beverages in one or more of a variety of food service environments
• Assemble, serve and/or deliver meals to patients and/or staff in an efficient, professional, and timely manner
• Function as part of the team that ensures food safety and quality for patients, visitors and staff

What You Will Need

• Certification: Successful completion of a Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) within 30 days of start date of position, required
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED and minimum of one year of food service experience in a healthcare setting
