Food Service Aide / PRN

About the role

This Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. We help patients during some of the most vulnerable, painful moments of their lives—and every team member plays a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care every step of the way.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services.
• Be an integral part of food preparations, serving prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors, and assisting in clean-up.
• Prepare food in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide high-quality food preparation and service.
• Complete all scheduled procedures during the shift without compromising quality.
• Volunteer to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
• Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous healthcare food service experience preferred.

$17.00 per hour
