Food Service Aide - Full-Time 11A-7P

About the role

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Food Service Aide (FSA) / Dietary Aide to join our team. This position is located at 201 Pleasant Hill Rd, Chester, NJ 07930 (MORRIS COUNTY).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services.
• Be an integral part of the food preparations, serving of the prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors, and assisting in clean up.
• Provide quality work, show knowledge of the job, and make good decisions.
• Be timely and efficient when preparing food.
• Provide high-quality food preparation and service.
• Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work.
• Volunteer to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
• Demonstrate reliability and dependability in your work.
• Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous healthcare food service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Skills

• Knowledge of food service operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Pay

$19.00/Hour - $23.79/Hour (Based on Experience) + Shift Differential

Schedule

Full-Time, 11AM-7PM (Includes Weekday & Weekend Shifts)
