Food Server - Macau Kitchen

About the role

Jump into the role Provides efficient, courteous service to guests.

Responsibilities

• Monitors guests’ needs on a continual basis, ensuring all requests are promptly filled.
• Performs as a team with other servers to provide Rocking guest service.
• Performs all necessary side work.
• Polishing and rolling silverware, restocking items such as condiment’s, filling salt and pepper shakers, cutting lemons, etc.
• Performs as a team with other rockers to produce a smoothly run function.
• Performs bus person duties to clear tables when guests have completed their meals.
• Assists with opening and closing the functions according to prescribed specifications.
• Performs all necessary tasks to service guests, such as taking and filling all food and drink orders whenever necessary, and maintaining the venue in a clean and neat manner.
• Maintains all proper sanitation practices.
• Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia.
• Abides to Freeman Standards.
• Knows hours of operation and current promotions.
• Knows food products, food promotions, and food available on buffet stations.
• Completes assigned side work duties; use of supplies, cleaning and organizing assigned areas.
• Returns any lost and found articles to supervisor immediately.
• Upholds the Mission Statement – We create authentic experiences that rock.
• Represents Hard Rock Biloxi in the most positive manner with guests, co-workers, managers, and vendors.

• Follows The Legal Stuff guidelines.

Requirements

Experience preferred but will train or promote willing individual.

Skills

• Must be able to work flexible hours and shifts.
• Must be very detailed oriented.
• Must project a professional and positive image.
• Must have a high level of energy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, & special events (Banquet) as needed.
• Must have basic mathematical skills.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
