Food Server - Banquets

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous guest service and demonstrate menu knowledge for each function.
• Set up linens, silverware, glassware, and china for events.
• Monitor tables attentively, address guest needs, and clear plates and glasses.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure the event area's cleanliness.
• Assist co-workers and perform assigned side work duties.
• Ensure overall event appearance and proper presentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 6 months food serving experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Neat, professional appearance with good hygiene.
• Ability to interact effectively with guests, the public, and team members.
• Teamwork mindset and flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and carry trays up to 15 lbs, with some lifting required.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with exposure to secondary tobacco smoke.
