Food Server Assistant- Flagler Steakhouse

About the Role

The Food Server Assistant must be energetic, possess excellent foot speed, and exhibit a friendly demeanor. This role works closely with servers to ensure guest needs are met in a timely manner while maintaining impeccable cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with servers to ensure guest needs are met in a timely manner
• Ensure impeccable cleanliness of the restaurant and adhere to food safety standards
• Clear tables and reset them according to standards immediately after guests have departed
• Set up the front of the house and back of the house for service (expo line and dish area)
• Assist servers during meal periods: pour water, clear dishes, reset tables, run food, and maintain cleanliness
• Provide excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a food server assistant or similar position in a restaurant setting (preferred but not required)
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Outstanding customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Able to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
