Food Server Assistant - Banquets

Responsibilities

• Work with servers to ensure guest needs are met in a timely manner
• Ensure impeccable cleanliness of the restaurant and adhere to food safety standards
• Clear tables and reset them according to standards immediately after guests have departed
• Set up the front of the house and back of the house for service (expo line and dish area)
• Absorb and assist servers during meal periods, pour water, clear dishes, reset tables, run food, and maintain the cleanliness of the space
• Provide excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a food server assistant or a similar position in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required
• A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, outstanding customer service and problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic are essential
• The successful candidate must also be detail-oriented and able to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
