Food Science Laboratory Technician

About the Role

We are looking for an analyst with basic chemistry laboratory experience who pays very close attention to detail, can prioritize multiple tasks, and is able to work effectively on a team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is eager to learn and continually strives to improve processes in the lab.

Responsibilities

• Organize workload and prioritize samples to maximize output and meet deadlines
• Execution of ELISA Kit testing methods
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
• Meet Quality control and ISO requirements
• Maintain a work environment that complies with General Mills and Medallion safety rules
• Cross-functional support across Medallion as business needs dictate

Strong organizational skills, independent decision making, high attention to detail, and service orientation are essential. Skillfully handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities with minimal guidance or direction.

• 2-Year science degree or 4-year science degree (Biology, Biochemistry, Food Science, Environmental Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or related field)

Pay

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
