About the Role
The Food Quality & Safety Specialist provides expert support on food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance to customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Offer technical advice on food safety and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop tailored solutions and promote products.
- Drive sales growth and identify new opportunities.
- Deliver customer service through timely technical support.
- Provide training and stay current on product knowledge.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in QA, QC, food safety, or related areas.
- Ability to travel regionally, hold a valid driver’s license, and manage logistics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Sales background.
- Proficiency in ERP/CRM tools.
- Certifications such as HACCP.
