Food Safety & Quality Intern - Green Bay, WI - Year Round

About the role

This Food Safety & Quality Internship will be focused on supporting food safety and quality initiatives, and company objectives. It is designed to prepare successful interns for a possible future career with Schreiber Foods. This internship is a year-round position and offers a flexible hybrid work schedule (Monday-Friday) located at our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Cooking new ingredient and supplier onboarding tasks
• Gathering ingredient and supplier information by referencing databases and systems
• Reviewing audits and supplier reports
• Creating documents and reports such as supplier KPI’s
• Inputting and analyzing data
• Aiding quality teams on ongoing projects

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Data Sciences, Food Safety and Quality or a science related field.
• Graduation date of May 2028 or later.
• Availability to work approximately 15 to 20 hours a week during the semester, and 40 hours a week during summer and winter breaks.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to take ownership of assignments and complete them.
• Desire to grow and take on new challenges and opportunities.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Reliable transportation.
• Thorough knowledge of administrative procedures and computer systems such as word processing, managing files and records, Excel, Power Point, Documentum, and Microsoft Outlook.

Qualifications

• Must have authorization to work in the country in which the role is based.
