About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for quality systems and procedures, food safety programs, and regulatory affairs within a food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee plant product quality improvement and proactive initiatives and quality measurement programs.
- Manage programs involving product/ingredient specifications, web-based information systems, product cuttings, quality audits, and customer complaints.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and meet customer expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of Quality Management experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience with food safety protocols and regulations.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and auditing processes.
- Proficiency in using web-based information systems and data analysis tools.
Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
