Food Runner- Zhen Bang- Seasonal

About the role

The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately in a casino environment with exposure to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and hectic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver completed cuisine to designated tables.
• Support wait staff by assisting with food delivery and retrieval of supplies.
• Serve all customers according to established standards of quality.
• Know appropriate garnishes and sauces for each plate.
• Have full knowledge of table numbers, seat numbers, and restaurant sections.
• Perform final quality check of all plates before delivery.
• Deliver all food items to the correct table in a timely manner without "auctioning" food.
• Know pivot points and seat numbers to ensure accurate food delivery.
• Provide guests with any items they request to complete their meal.
• Communicate with service staff and management about guest requests you cannot fulfill.
• Communicate with kitchen and management regarding food-related guest concerns.
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age with a minimum of six months' experience as a food server in high-volume and/or fine dining environments.
• Excellent personal appearance, good communication skills, and a friendly, congenial personality.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Must be available to work holidays, weekends, flexible shifts, and/or unusual hours.
