About the role

• Stock and organize food service areas in preparation for service
• Assist with food preparation tasks, such as garnishing plates and assembling orders, as needed
• Work efficiently under pressure, especially during busy periods, to ensure timely delivery of all orders
• Primarily assist the food & beverage and culinary team with food orders
• Have full knowledge of the menu and cooking preparations
• Deliver food to tables accurately, identifying and describing each plate
• Assist with bussing or setting up tables when necessary
• Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and supplies in good working order
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned, which may be outside the normal scope based on business needs

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods
• Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 pounds semi-regularly

Pay

The pay scale for this position is $16.90 per hour (base hourly wage, exclusive of incentive pay such as gratuities).
