About the Role
The Hotel Hershey is a luxury resort known for its refined elegance, signature services, and abundant amenities. Situated atop the town of Hershey, the 1930's hotel is a Historic Hotel of America and a AAA Four-Diamond Award winner. This role ensures consistent, quality plate presentations for all menu items and supports servers in timely meal delivery to guests.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food items from kitchen to table with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness of the immediate work area and general property.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external guests.
- Assist servers throughout the guest experience.
- Complete all assigned side work in a clean and orderly manner.
- Act as a liaison between kitchen and guest to ensure satisfaction, maintaining professional communication.
- Describe menu items in detail, including preparation methods.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
- Work efficiently and professionally as part of a team in a guest-focused environment.
- Comply with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts code of conduct policy.
- Work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors.
Requirements
- 16 years of age or older.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience in food & beverage.
- Knowledge of Forbes and AAA Service standards.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale systems.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours between 4:45 PM and 10:30 PM, with potential for additional hours based on operational demand.
- Must meet scheduled requirements, likely including evening and weekend shifts.

- Verbal communication skills to convey detailed information in person or by phone.
- Ability to speak and read English.
- Environmental Conditions:
- Subject to noise levels requiring shouting to be heard above ambient noise.
- Repetitive motion involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
This is a part-time, year-round union position with a schedule based on union seniority.
