Food Runner - HRC Atlantic City

About the role

The primary function of a Food Runner at Hard Rock Cafe is to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner. This role requires quick and efficient service, along with the ability to handle guest inquiries and issues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests quickly and efficiently.
• Deliver condiments and drinks as needed (to include alcoholic beverages).
• Refill beverages as needed.
• Respond to guest inquiries in a courteous and polite manner.
• Promptly and professionally, handle guest issues and communicate problems and concerns to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized server alley and expo area.
• Stock ice and glassware on the server line.
• Pre-buss tables.
• Clean and reset dirty tables.
• Sweep the floor.
• Assist and communicate clearly with the kitchen staff and front of the house staff.

Requirements

• Ability to move throughout the corporate office and cafes during visits (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
• Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders.
• Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
• Tolerance for exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment.
• Ability to travel via auto or airplane for long periods of time.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $2 - $25 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications.
