Food Runner/Expo

Tuckers Cove Town Center in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking a driven individual for a Food Runner/Expo role within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities

• Assures all material used by servers is clean and ready for daily operation.
• Possesses knowledge of each diner’s chair position in dining rooms and lounges.
• Sets the outside line with under liner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and other items needed for food delivery.
• Organizes plates in the window and matches each with tickets to run food to tables.
• Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards.
• Ensures each menu item is prepared exactly as outlined on tickets; corrects discrepancies with the chef before delivery.
• Fills and refills water glasses and removes unused place settings.
• Clears dishes upon completion of each course and resets tables after guests leave, including changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins.
• Assists servers as needed and keeps workstations well-stocked.
• Maintains cleanliness by cleaning workstations, taking out trash, and vacuuming the dining room.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• One month of related experience or training.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism, cleanliness, and neatness.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays.

Pay

$14.00 per hour
