About the role
Join our dynamic team as a Food Runner / Expeditor. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience by efficiently delivering orders from the kitchen to their tables. Your responsibilities include communicating with the kitchen, managing orders, and providing attentive service to guests.
Responsibilities
- Ensure swift and precise delivery of orders from the kitchen to tables
- Communicate with kitchen staff to update order statuses and notify waitstaff of completed dishes
- Perform finishing touches to dishes, such as garnishing and removing smudges
- Assist servers, bartenders, and guests in the dining experience
- Take orders and deliver requested items in a timely and efficient manner
- Relate with guests about their needs, satisfaction with beverages, and ensure consistent care and quality service
- Ensure food is served safely according to safety standards (e.g., proper temperature)
- Check in with guests upon dish delivery and address any needs
Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service or a similar role, preferably in a luxury setting
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Basic conversational English proficiency with team members and guests
- Additional language skills are welcomed and valued
