About the Role

This oceanfront, all-suite hotel recently underwent a $35 million transformation and features a newly renovated restaurant with a refreshed dining concept inspired by Santa Monica’s natural beauty. As a Food Runner, you will efficiently and accurately deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables or rooms, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for discerning travelers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables or rooms with accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to maintain a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and high-touch manner, addressing concerns and escalating complaints as needed.
• Maintain and enforce company standards for operational processes and procedures in food and beverage outlets.

Requirements

• No prior experience required, but fine dining experience is helpful.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work a full-time hospitality schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must adhere to hotel dress and grooming standards (e.g., no visible tattoos while in uniform, no unnatural hair colors, limited piercings, neatly groomed facial hair).
