Food Runner/Busser

About the role

The Server Assistant/Food Runner works with the expo to ensure prompt delivery of food from the “hot” and “cold” kitchen windows to tables in the Food and Beverage Outlet. Together with the expo and service staff, they verify plate accuracy, deliver food in a timely manner, and provide any additional items guests need to complete their meal.

Responsibilities

• Check each plate of food to confirm it matches the guest’s order.
• Ensure all condiments accompany each order.
• Verify every item on the order is ready and on the tray.
• Work diligently to avoid breakage and loss.
• Notify servers of guest needs.
• Complete all opening, ongoing, and closing side work as assigned by the manager on duty.
• Stock and restock appropriate linens for service.
• Stock and restock work stations with plates, saucers, and other necessary items.
• Inform servers of any potential guest issues.
• Provide general resort information to guests.
