About the Role

Part-Time Food Runner position at Poston Butte Golf Club in Florence, AZ. Join a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization as part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities

• Assures all material used by servers is clean and ready for daily operation.
• Possesses knowledge of the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
• Sets the outside line with under liner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and any other items needed for delivering food.
• Organizes plates in the window and matches each with the corresponding ticket to run food to tables.
• Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards.
• Ensures each menu item is prepared exactly as outlined on the ticket; corrects discrepancies with the chef before delivery.
• Fills and refills water glasses and removes unused place settings.
• Clears dishes from guests upon completion of each course.
• Clears and resets tables when guests leave, including changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins.
• Assists servers as needed.
• Keeps workstations well-stocked with items and ingredients.
• Maintains cleanliness by cleaning workstations, taking out trash, and vacuuming the dining room.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• One month of related experience or training.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism, cleanliness, and neatness.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays.
