About the Role

This position is responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations while acting as a mentor to other employees to provide superior guest service. The role contributes to a positive work environment through teamwork, professionalism, and a constructive approach to daily events.

Responsibilities

  • Strong preparation skills, including stocking service items, adhering to state health department regulations, preparing base plates, and assisting with final plate touches (e.g., wipes, garnishes).
  • Makes a positive contribution to the work environment through attitude, cooperation, and teamwork.
  • Reports potential safety hazards to management immediately.
  • Performs assigned tasks (side-work, cleaning, etc.) and additional duties outside the daily-weekly checklist as directed by management.
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of menu items and allergens.
  • Builds strong communication and relationships with serving staff and the culinary team, ensuring clear and open lines of communication.
  • Prioritizes multiple tasks and remains calm and genuine in high-volume situations.
  • Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including phone etiquette, personal appearance, timing, attendance, and guest interactions.
  • Provides accurate resort knowledge and information about the surrounding area.
  • Obtains and maintains a RAMP certification through the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced situations.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Professional demeanor when interfacing with business contacts and customers.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a guest service role.
  • Understanding of the hospitality industry is helpful.
