In addition to delivering guests’ orders, they will assist servers in responding to the requests of our guests. The main responsibility of this position is to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner. Basic Functions Of a Food Runner Deliver food to guests quickly and efficiently.Deliver condiments and drinks as needed (to include alcoholic beverages).Refill beverages as needed. Respond to guest inquiries in a courteous and polite manner.Promptly and professionally, handle guest issues and communicates problems and concern to management.Maintain a clean and organized server alley and expo area.Stock ice and glassware on the server line.Pre-buss tables.Clean and reset dirty tables.Sweep the floor.Assist and communicate clearly with the kitchen staff and front of the house staff.
