Food Runner
About the role
The Food Runner is responsible to deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables rapidly and accurately. Acting as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff. Communicating food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities (e.g. food allergies).
As a Food Runner, you help set the standards by which our restaurant is judged through your attitude toward our guests, as well as your professional disposition and presentation. You are always in full view of the guest, and you only get one opportunity to make a first impression, so strong communication skills are a must. Your working relationship with the entire staff is vital to the successful operation of the restaurant. You must be able to anticipate guest needs and communicate those needs to the service staff. At times, you may also be asked to take care of a guest need or concern yourself.
