About the role

We’re looking for Production Specialists who are detail-oriented, work well in teams, and make our guests their top priority. This role is ideal for those with a passion for production and who enjoy working early shifts.

Pay

$19.64 - $20.94 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 12 am – 5 am.

Schedule

Full-time position requiring availability from 3 am – 11 am, with days off typically on Sunday and Wednesday. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays is expected to meet store needs.

Responsibilities

• Handle production for key items to support Deli-CMS, Meat-Seafood, Bakery, and Produce departments
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store; assist guests in finding products and completing meal solutions
• Inspect store products for proper rotation, cleaning, and sanitation; complete necessary reports
• Follow all The Fresh Market standards, policies, and protocols
• Present self in a professional manner, adhering to uniform standards

Requirements

• A passion for providing extraordinary service
• At least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality industries
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Production Planning Software experience

Physical and Work Conditions

• Repetitive hand/arm movements, grasping, bending, reaching
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds independently
• Exposure to extreme temperatures
• Use of tools and equipment: knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment
• Required to spend long periods on feet and stand or walk without a break (up to 4 hours or as required by law)
• Required to wear approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment
