Schedule: Part-time shifts will vary. Occasional weekends, and holidays. Job Responsibilities: The Food Plant Associate will help fulfill orders on an assembly line making snack cups. This will include operation of production equipment. Associates are expected to assist in stuffing snack cups and fulfilling customer orders. It is the responsibility of the associate to contribute to a safe work environment for themselves and their fellow operators. Perform work activities with attention to the highest standards of food quality, safe processes, compliance with a focus on process improvementResponsible for producing snack cups and fulfilling ordersInspection and labeling of finished productRotating job assignments throughout the production processRecognizing safety or quality problemsKeeps work area and machines clean alwaysAdjusting machine settings and quality system checks Perform all duties in an efficient manner Working Conditions: This role requires a significant amount of movement. An individual in this role will be working with various types of foods. They will also operate equipment upon request. The position will require general physical movements such as frequent walking, standing, lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching. Environmental conditions include working with allergens, loud noises, chemical exposure, and a warm working area. Qualifications: Strong work ethic and reliabilityExperience with food manufacturingGood hand-eye coordinationAbility to identify and analyze problems and plan solutionsStrong oral, written, and interpersonal skills to provide a positive work environmentAbility to prepare and produce snack cup products to standards.
