About the role

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager to support patient services at Parkview Regional Medical Center and Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing on‑site food service operations, delivering exceptional service outcomes, and driving operational performance, financial results, and client satisfaction through effective team leadership, safety oversight, and strategic execution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on‑site food service operations for both hospitals.
• Drive operational performance, financial results, and client satisfaction.
• Provide safety oversight and ensure compliance with HACCP and other regulatory standards.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate a high‑performing team, including performance reviews, pay reviews, and hiring/firing decisions.
• Set direction, deploy resources, and manage people through both direct and matrixed relationships.
• Partner closely with clients to strengthen relationships and meet contractual commitments.
• Champion sustainability, culinary quality, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Plan and execute operational and strategic initiatives aligned with client goals.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of management experience in food service.
• 2–3 years of related experience in high‑volume dining environments.

Pay

Salary range: $64,600 – $83,600 per year.
