About the Role

You have an eye for detail and ensure a smooth transition of food from the kitchen to the guest’s table. As a Food Expeditor, you will guarantee every dish sent out is impeccably presented and ready to devour.

Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between the kitchen and dining room staff in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, ensuring all food items are delivered timely.
• Receive and relay orders to the kitchen staff according to ticket specifications, ensuring all dishes match on every plate.
• Serve as the last set of eyes to review all outgoing plates.
• Maintain a clean and organized station, adhering to all DHEC regulations for cleanliness and sanitation.

Requirements

• At least one year of restaurant experience preferred.
• Positive energy and a team-player mindset, ready to assist fellow staff.
• Strong communication skills with managers, employees, and guests.
• Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, brunch, and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk constantly, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
