Food Court Team Member-PT

About the Role

Responsible for the preparation and sale of C’Dubs Subs and La Bahia Mexican outlets. Each Team Member will prepare items ordered to the guest’s satisfaction and complete the order at the POS system.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service.
• Safely prepare a variety of foods per department procedures, supervisor’s instructions, and health code compliance.
• Maintain clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
• Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
• Assist with food prep and stocking of the area.
• Inform supervisor when supplies are low or equipment is not working properly.
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
• Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• Handle cash accurately and operate POS system.
• Maintain health code regulations.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Chinook Winds Casino Resort guest service standards.
• Perform general upkeep of designated area.
• Identify and report any irregular, unsafe, or hazardous conditions.
• Provide input or recommendations for improvements and changes in program processes or services.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 16 or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred.
• Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License.
• Must have a Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of start date.
• Must obtain VIP (Visibly Intoxicated Person) Permit within 45 days of the start date.
• Knowledge of regulations governing food preparation and service.
• Basic math skills.

Work will take place in a busy gaming environment with multiple distractions. The noise level is usually moderate to loud. The environment is subject to smoke and associated effects.

Conditions of employment include passing a pre-employment drug screen, a background investigation, and completing a 180-day introductory period.
