Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities
- Cleans/mops floors and applies floor drier.
- Cleans all equipment.
- Maintains the sanitation area
- Cleans break rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, and other work areas.
- Cleans and picks up trash in parking lot, exterior building, landscaping, and dumpster area.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties and cleans wastebaskets and ashtrays, inside and out.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Replaces light bulbs.
- Stocks and rotates stock.
- Unloads delivery truck and put away stock.
- Cleans lint, dust, oil, and grease from lobby areas and production/retail areas.
- Scrubs processing tanks and vats.
Qualifications
- Must have valid SNHD Food Handler's Card (NV Health card)
- Able to successfully pass background investigation, pre-employment personality screening, and drug testing
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Education/Experience
- Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between English words and between series of numbers.
Math Ability
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Other Requirements
- Commitment to teamwork, a clean, professional appearance, and enthusiasm; a desire to take on more responsibility.
Work Environment
- Regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions.
- Noisy environment.
- Regular standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, seeing, and balancing.
- Pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds.
- Lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Regular use of hands to finger, firmly grasp, handle, feel, reach above the shoulder, and reach below the waist.
