Food Court Cashier - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Foster a fun environment.
• Be a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.
• Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events.
• Interact with guests and co-workers in a helpful, positive, upbeat, and professional manner while taking food/beverage orders, accepting payment, delivering orders, and bussing and cleaning the dining area.
• Maintain neat, clean, and sanitized work area by wiping counter areas, beverage stations, sinks, and floors as required.
• Monitor and replenish all food products in the work area by stocking counters and displays in a neat, accurate, and timely fashion.
• Ensure rotation and quality of product for appearance and safe holding temperature and proper storage of prepared foods under refrigeration.
• Work as a team with culinary staff to coordinate workflow during shift to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain all equipment in proper working condition such as cappuccino machine, micros station, etc.
• Adhere to state and company sanitation requirements (ServSafe).
• Support safety and accident prevention programs (nonslip footwear, proper lifting).
• Comply with gaming laws and regulations.
• Assist in the operation of other food and beverage venues as needed.

Requirements

• Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests.
• Six months of experience in food or customer service field with cash handling preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Read, write legibly, understand and speak English.
• Excellent customer service/communication skills.
• Count money and change correctly.
• Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Able to respond to visual and oral cues.
• Able to be on feet for entire shift.
• Able to tolerate noise and bright lights.
• Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

Pay

Starting Salary: $17.00 per hour
