About the role

A Retail Sales Associate delivers a welcoming, knowledgeable, and efficient shopping experience while driving sales to meet daily goals.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and offer assistance.
• Be knowledgeable of products and pricing.
• Use sales techniques to drive sales and meet daily goals.
• Handle cash, checks, and credit cards with high accuracy.
• Verify and balance cash drawer.
• Accurately produce reports and other departmental documents as assigned.
• Receive, price, and stock merchandise following store procedures and standards.
• Maintain clean and organized store floors, fixtures, and merchandise.

Requirements

• Demonstrable sales skills and excellent math skills.
• Ability to work with money, credit cards, and cash receipts.
• Strong listening skills, including the ability to ask clarifying questions.
• Retail experience is a plus.
• 1 year of food service experience (required).
• Proficiency in English (required).
• Ability to commute to Key West, FL 33040 (required).
