Food & Beverage Team Leader

The Food & Beverage team ensures a consistent guest experience by maintaining product freshness, availability, and accurate pricing. This role leads food and food services, including replenishment, inventory, food safety, and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments for an Easy, Inspiring, and Friendly experience.
• Train and hold team members accountable for guest experience and operations.
• Review guest, financial, and team metrics to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Plan and execute daily/weekly workload to meet sales goals and guest engagement.
• Lead a guest-focused Food & Beverage team, ensuring standards through daily walks and assessments.
• Prioritize tasks, review reporting, and identify business trends.
• Establish goals, provide feedback, and develop team members.
• Collaborate with store leadership to influence sales and workload deliverables.
• Maintain freshness, inventory, and food safety standards.
• Assign tasks based on workload and guest traffic, ensuring alignment with priorities.
• Lead team huddles, communicate focuses, and develop partnerships with vendors.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and guest services (e.g., cashier, order pick-up).
• Ensure compliance with adult beverage laws and brand standards (Starbucks, Pizza Hut, if applicable).
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and inclusivity.
• Occasionally assume store-level leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail and/or food experience preferred.
• Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business.
• Ability to lead, communicate, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Manage workload, prioritize tasks, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.

Physical Requirements

• Access all areas of the building.
• Interpret instructions, reports, and information.
• Handle cash register operations.
• Climb ladders, scan, handle, and move merchandise (up to 44 pounds).
• Work in varying temperatures, including refrigeration and freezer conditions.
• Remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts.

Schedule

Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times. Hours may fluctuate based on business needs.

Pay

Starting pay range: $23.75 - $25.75 per hour. Full pay range: $23.75 - $40.40 per hour. Pay is based on labor markets, education, experience, and certifications.
