Food & Beverage Lead Padel is social — and food and beverage is an important part of the experience at Union Padel Club. As our Food & Beverage Lead, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day execution of our bar and food program, helping create a welcoming and high-quality experience for members, guests, and events. This is a hands-on role. You’ll spend time behind the bar serving drinks, preparing and plating food, supporting events, and keeping the space organized and ready for service. At the same time, you’ll take ownership of many of the operational details that keep the program running smoothly, including inventory, ordering, vendor coordination, deliveries, and supplies. This role is ideal for someone with prior food and beverage or hospitality experience who is ready to take on more ownership and help build a growing program. We’re not looking for a traditional restaurant manager — we’re looking for someone who enjoys being on the floor, takes initiative, and can manage the details behind the scenes. Key Responsibilities Own the day-to-day operation of the club’s food and beverage programServe members and guests at the bar and throughout the clubPrepare drinks and support basic food preparation, heating, plating, and serviceMaintain a clean, organized, stocked, and welcoming bar and food service areaManage inventory levels and coordinate ordering and restockingCoordinate with food, beverage, and other operating vendors and suppliersReceive and organize deliveries and ensure products are stored appropriatelyHelp manage product availability, waste, and overall operational efficiencySupport food and beverage needs for private events, tournaments, and club programmingWork with club leadership on menu offerings, pricing, product selection, and improvements to the overall F&B experienceAssist with other hospitality and club needs as required What We’re Looking For Previous experience in food and beverage, hospitality, restaurant, bar, or similar environmentsStrong hospitality and customer-service mindsetComfortable serving food and alcoholic beveragesOrganized and dependable, with strong attention to detailAbility to manage inventory, vendors, and multiple day-to-day prioritiesWillingness to be hands-on and jump in wherever neededStrong communication skills and a team-oriented attitudeCooking or food preparation experience is a plus, but not required Why Union Padel Club Union Padel Club is Chicago’s premium indoor padel club, combining sport, hospitality, wellness, and community under one roof. Our West Loop club features five indoor padel courts, a full-service bar, social lounges, coworking and recovery spaces, and a pro shop. Food and beverage is an important part of the social experience we are building, and this role will have the opportunity to help shape and grow that offering as the club evolves.
