FOOD & BEVERAGE CONCESSION / BEVERAGE CART ATTENDANT

About the role

The Food & Beverage Concession/ Beverage Cart Attendant provides service to golfers while they are on the golf course to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provides service to golfers while they are on the golf course to exceed expectations.
• Answers questions that the guests may have about the golf courses or facilities.
• Sells sandwiches and drinks to golfers.
• Maintains proper stock levels on refreshment cart.

Requirements

• Seasonal position typically working through December; and limited schedule January and February.
• Previous bartender experience would be helpful
• Previous cash handling experience preferred
• Golf knowledge is helpful
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (Schedule could start as early as 6 a.m. and end as late as 9 p.m.)
• Must be available to work all Holidays and weekends
• Able to work outdoors; in all kinds of weather.
• Excellent verbal communications skills.
• Excellent public contact skills.
• Able to work independently in a stressful situation. Ability to serve guests in a quick manner
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Physical requirements include but are not limited to: (1) bending; (2) lifting; (3) ability to transport 50 pounds

Qualifications

• In accordance with Virginia A.B.C. § 4.1-225 Colonial Williamsburg prohibits employment of anyone in an alcohol serving position who has been convicted of a felony, any crime involving moral turpitude (lying, cheating, or stealing), or a drug-related offense within the past five (5) years.
