Food Assistant Team Lead - Dollywood Theme Park - Full Time Seasonal

Summary Of Essential Functions And Responsibilities

Assists and supports the Team Lead in the successful and profitable operation of the unit assigned while providing excellent Guest service.

• Opens and closes the shop in the absence of the Team Lead including: DSL, register readings, labor control, Orders, and inventory
• Assists Team Lead by putting in orders and tracking inventory
• Ensures there is no decrease in safety awareness, profitability, efficiency, and excellent Guest service in the absence of the Team Lead
• Maintains knowledge of Micros with the ability to do voids, refunds, and troubleshooting

Management

Maintains knowledge of proper cooking temperatures and hold times; maintain temperature sheets

• Ensures day dot procedures are in place; follows First In First Out (FIFO)
• Ensures food is high quality
• Suggestively sells, buss tables, sweep dining areas, etc.

Supports And Enforces

• Supports and enforces all company policies
• Absolutely ensures that unit is organized and maintained in a sanitary manner by ensuring proper cleaning schedules are followed

Education And Experience Required

• At least one (1) year experience in Food Service
• At least 6 months of supervisory experience preferred
• Must pass “ServSafe Applied Foodservice Sanitation Training and Certification” Program
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Basic computer experience
• Able to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy. Must have valid driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance and acceptable motor vehicle driving record

• Able to be available and willing to work at different locations on Park
• Able to be able to work and tolerate temperatures ranging from 0 to 120 degrees
• Able to comply with all Health Dept., Serv Safe, and Company regulations pertaining to Food Safety Handling Procedures

Physical And Cognitive Requirements

• Lifting and Carrying: Position may require occasional to frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. utilizing company’s safety guidelines for safe lifting
• Mobility: Position may require intermittent to prolonged sitting, standing and/or walking for duration of shift, up to 13 hours. Employees may also be required to travel to various areas on property which may include changes in terrain, stairs and uneven surfaces
• Repetitive Movements: This position may require performing repetitive movements and tasks throughout the shift, including repeated use of hands, arms or other body parts as part of typical job functions
• Environmental Conditions: This position requires the ability to perform work tasks in varying weather conditions to include extreme cold and heat. Employees may be required to work indoors and outdoors
• Cognitive and Sensory Requirements: This position requires strong cognitive skills, including the ability to think critically, solve problems, process and retain information, have attention to detail and communicate effectively using approved methods
