Food and Nutrition Tech, Full Time, First Shift

• Must complete assigned duties/tasks professionally, accurately and as timely as possible.
• Must have a thorough knowledge understanding of Room Service, dish room, food handling, cleaning and sanitation processes.
• Responsible for soiled tray removal from patient rooms in a polite, professional and friendly manner.
• Responsible for trash removal, floor care, bathroom sanitation and cleanliness.
• Must be able to multi-task and work at a fast consistent pace.
• Records food service and DHEC logs and records.
• Upholds all DHEC/DNV regulation in regard to food safety, facility upkeep, cleaning and sanitation.
• Must maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in work area according to policies/procedures.
• Upholds proper personal and hand hygiene practices at all times.
• Relays any identified problems to a department leader in a timely manner.
• Must be flexible with schedule times.
• Completes any other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Coordinator, Specialist or Management.
• These responsibilities contribute to meeting the nutrition needs of the patients and all others served.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or one-year applicable food service/customer service experience.
• Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions regarding logs, sanitation, patient care, and infection control policies.
• Pushing weights up to 200# required.
• Constant walking and standing are necessary.

Schedule

Full Time, 1st Shift, 4 week days, every other weekend.
