Food and Event Delivery Driver - Liberty AvePart-time

About the role

We are in need of a part-time delivery driver to take food from Roots and deliver to our customers. This is much more than just grabbing a pizza and dropping it at a front door. Sometimes there will be set up of the food involved. Sometimes you will be carrying a 30lb box down a hall, up an elevator, and down another hall. You will need to have access to an email and a working phone at all times. You'll be interacting with our customers via phone and in person - making you a face of Roots. Please note this is a contracted position, not a position of employment.

Responsibilities

• Pick up food from Roots and deliver to customers
• Set up food deliveries when required
• Carry 30lb boxes, navigate halls, elevators, and stairs
• Maintain constant access to email and a working phone
• Interact with customers via phone and in person, representing Roots

Requirements

• Very flexible schedule: receive order emails by 8:30 am; general availability between 10 am – 7 pm Monday‑Friday
• Valid driver's license
• Current car insurance
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Ability to carry a 30lb box and set up food deliveries
• Part‑time commitment: approximately 5 hours per week initially, growing to 10 hours per week over the next 6 months

Pay

Expected pay: average $40+ per delivery.
