About the role

Under the direction of the Guest Service Manager, the Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for the work carried out within the Guest Services Department. Coordinates Guest Services at the conference center to ensure staff members and guests experience a positive impression of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Keep the restaurant and lounge dining area running smoothly.
• Train and mentor new food service workers and hold them accountable.
• Ensure health codes, cleaning, and temperature logs are met daily.
• Track liquor inventory and supplies for both restaurants.
• Address guest complaints and ensure customer satisfaction by engaging with guests on the floor.
• Assist with the ordering, setup, and execution of banquets held in on-site locations.

Requirements

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing world-class service to clients, guests, and co-workers.
• Strong knowledge of personal computers.
li>Experience in all facets of providing guest services.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with others.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Preferably two years in hospitality services or a similar environment performing duties as a Guest Services or Concierge Supervisor.
• Must be able to read, write, and clearly speak English.
• May require physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
• May require wearing uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 to $25.00.
