Major Duties
- Serve food courses to guests.
- Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
- Obtain knowledge of the menu to provide ordering assistance.
- Communicate special requests, recook orders and allergies to the kitchen to ensure accuracy of orders.
- Utilize the point-of-sale system to record orders, bill and accurately establish a method of payment for each order.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
- Pick-up trays and clean tables as needed to ensure a clean dining area.
Physical Requirements
- Read, write and visually verify information to accurately enter tickets.
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
