About the role
A hands-on Beverage Formulator to support product development and innovation across beverage applications in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and test new beverage formulations to meet project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product development processes.
- Maintain detailed records of formulations and testing results.
- Source and evaluate raw materials for use in formulations.
- Provide technical support for production scale-up and troubleshooting.
- Ensure product consistency and quality throughout the development cycle.
- Stay updated on trends and advancements in beverage formulation techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field.
- Master's degree is preferred but not required.
- Experience conducting benchtop trials, experiments, and testing variables.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of laboratory best practices and bench-top etiquette.
- Passion for product development, experimentation, and innovation.
- Comfortable working independently with a high degree of autonomy.
- Startup mentality with a willingness to be hands-on and wear multiple hats.

Pay
Competitive salary ranging from $72,000 to $90,000 annually.
