About the role
The Food and Beverage Outlet Manager supervises and manages staff in the F&B Front of House (FOH) department. They develop, implement, and manage operational goals while monitoring performance and profit objectives.
Responsibilities
- Creates effective and efficient schedules
- Assists in the budget process, provides recommendations, ensures compliance, and reports concerns
- Ensures customer service standards are followed and addresses issues as they arise
- Drives achievement of department customer service goals
- Develops and implements staff training and development programs
- Manages rewards and recognition programs to maximize employee engagement
- Maintains cost control methods and procedures, including monitoring inventory and pars
- Ensures compliance with health department and customer service standards
- Oversees scheduling, breaks, floor plans, training, evaluations, and counseling for team members
- Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner with customers and team members
- Enforces gaming laws and regulations applicable to Food & Beverage operations
- Administers front-of-house restaurant and beverage operations
- Establishes and administers training programs for assigned restaurant and lounge
- Ensures facilities are adequate for staff performance and duties
- Maintains and instructs staff on safety policies and procedures
- Monitors food appearance and communicates deviations from standards
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two years of Food and Beverage experience
- Minimum two years of previous supervisory experience
- Ability to interact diplomatically with guests, staff, and colleagues to resolve conflicts
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages

Pay
$55,000 to $65,000 annually
