About the role

The Food and Beverage Outlet Manager supervises and manages staff in the F&B Front of House (FOH) department. They develop, implement, and manage operational goals while monitoring performance and profit objectives.

Responsibilities

• Creates effective and efficient schedules
• Assists in the budget process, provides recommendations, ensures compliance, and reports concerns
• Ensures customer service standards are followed and addresses issues as they arise
• Drives achievement of department customer service goals
• Develops and implements staff training and development programs
• Manages rewards and recognition programs to maximize employee engagement
• Maintains cost control methods and procedures, including monitoring inventory and pars
• Ensures compliance with health department and customer service standards
• Oversees scheduling, breaks, floor plans, training, evaluations, and counseling for team members
• Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner with customers and team members
• Enforces gaming laws and regulations applicable to Food & Beverage operations
• Administers front-of-house restaurant and beverage operations
• Establishes and administers training programs for assigned restaurant and lounge
• Ensures facilities are adequate for staff performance and duties
• Maintains and instructs staff on safety policies and procedures
• Monitors food appearance and communicates deviations from standards

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum two years of Food and Beverage experience
• Minimum two years of previous supervisory experience
• Ability to interact diplomatically with guests, staff, and colleagues to resolve conflicts
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Proficiency in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages

Pay

$55,000 to $65,000 annually
