Food and Beverage Shift Supervisor position in Pomona, California (601 W McKinley Ave). Full-time management role.
About the Role
Supervises daily Food and Beverage (F&B) shift operations, ensuring compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures. Manages day-to-day operations to verify quality, standards, and customer expectations are met. Maintains the operating budget and ensures legal obligations are followed. Develops goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
Responsibilities
- Assists in ordering F&B supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms.
- Supervises daily F&B shift operations and monitors compliance with policies and procedures.
- Supports and supervises an effective monthly self-inspection program.
- Operates all department equipment and reports malfunctions.
- Manages staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives.
- Encourages teamwork, mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- Understands employee positions to perform duties in their absence.
- Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
- Monitors and maintains employee productivity levels.
- Ensures all team members understand brand-specific philosophy.
- Maintains the operating budget and verifies legal obligations are followed.
- Assists supervisors in understanding team members' needs and expectations.
- Celebrates both successes and failures to foster learning and growth.
- Communicates areas needing attention and follows up to verify understanding.
- Coordinates cleaning programs in all F&B areas, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
- Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees.
- Creates an environment emphasizing motivation, empowerment, teamwork, and passion for service.
- Follows property-specific second effort and recovery plans.
- Demonstrates knowledge of brand-specific service culture.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
Pay
$32.69–$39.90 per hour, with bonus eligibility.
Schedule
Full-time.
