Food and Beverage Group Manager

About the role

Provides leadership and direction for operations at Snowshoe, WV, ensuring quality, service, safety, and profitability while maintaining high guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage standards of quality, service, safety, and profit.
• Develop and implement goals, policies, and objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of operations under your direction.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training management and staff.
• Carry out administrative functions including hiring, scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, coaching, counseling, and discipline.
• Oversee managers, supervisors, and employees.
• Attend required meetings and conduct training seminars (e.g., TIPS, food handling).
• Ensure guest satisfaction by assisting in menu planning, analysis, and pricing.
• Coordinate additional staff needs for special events and conference center business.
• Inspect outlets and employees to ensure compliance with health, safety, and state regulations.
• Address guest feedback concerning service, presentation, quality, and overall experience.
• Create and implement promotions, animation, and special events for outlets.
• Maintain profitability by monitoring labor costs, cost of goods sold, and other expenses.
• Contribute to the annual budget process and business plan.
• Accomplish related results as needed to support team efforts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• 5 years of restaurant or business supervisory/management experience.
