Food and Beverage Attendant NA-03
About the role
This position is located at: Epicenter Food Truck - Fort Irwin, California. As a member of the Epicenter Food Truck team, you will be integral to a network of dining facilities ranging from casual eateries to full-service dining and event catering.
Responsibilities
- Collects sales slips, totals sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons and makes change as necessary.
- Maintains related cash records.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly.
- Sets up food service counters and steam tables with hot and cold foods and beverages.
- Premixes coffee and hot water for tea, fills beverage dispensers with juices and soft drinks.
- Serves food and nonalcoholic beverages.
- Presents bill and receives payment.
- Able to serve uniform individual portions and avoid distractions when several guests ask for different items at the same time.
- Able to work alone.
- Knows the proper use of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
- Knows simple food handling techniques.
- Able to work safely.
- Able to use simple arithmetic.
- Empties trash and cleans and sanitizes containers.
- Unloads trucks and places contents in proper storage and use areas, brings supplies to work areas.
- Cleans floors, walls and windows in kitchen, dining and storage areas.
Requirements
- Conditions of employment: Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one year probationary period may be required. Satisfactory completion of an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation. Must be able to work shifts that include working morning, nights, weekends, holidays and special events. Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually. Must be willing to work the food truck location.
Qualifications
- Resumes must be two pages (or less).
- A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following: Must meet state/local age requirements (18) for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages.
